A natural product that is cut from blocks of sandstone. It can come in a variety of colours and sizes, all random and natural. It can come in several thicknesses from 20mm to 60mm.

DRY STONE WALLS:

When building a dry stone wall from random sandstone, stone of various sizes will be required. Where One Footers are used as the predominant size, approximately ten rocks per lineal metre are required (8 one footers and 2 smaller stones). Refer Fact Sheet – Dry Stone Wall Building

The mortar mix to be used for laying sandstone should be a mix of sand, cement, lime and water at the ratio of 3:1:1 (Definitely no loam)
